Two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch tells crew over the radio to have a doctor meet him after Sunday's race: "I'm gonna need a shot."
NASCAR driver Kyle Busch requested medical attention after finishing a season-best eighth in Sunday's race at Watkins Glen International. As the May 10 race was winding down, Busch asked his team over the radio to have a doctor meet him at his bus in the garage area afterwards, though he didn't specify what the issue was. "Can somebody try to find Bill Heisel?
Heโs the kindred doctor guy. Tell him I need him after the race, please," Busch said. FOX Sports' Mike Joy did say on the television broadcast that Busch was dealing with a "sinus cold" throughout the week.
