Three takeaways: Georgia run rules LSU baseball in Game 3

LSU baseball was swept on Sunday, losing to Georgia in run-rule fashion in Game 3. LSU has one more SEC series left.

LSU baseball entered Sunday hoping to salvage the series vs. Georgia and capture momentum heading into the final week of the season, but that's not how Game 3 vs. the Bulldogs played out.

Much like Saturday's Game 2, Georgia took an early lead and commanded the game. Georgia scored four runs in the second, which would have been enough to win the game alone, but UGA kept pouring it on for a run-rule victory. Casan Evans was back after being out for the past couple of weekends.

The Dawgs did not greet him kindly. Evans was taken off the mound after 1. 2 innings, giving up four runs on four hits, three strikeouts, and two walks.
