Isaac Ellis will join Louisville basketball a season earlier than expected.

It's said that good things come to those who wait, but Louisville won't have to bide its time for Isaac Ellis. The Louisville Courier-Journal reports that Ellis has decided to speed up the clock by reclassifying to the class of 2026 to play for the Cardinals this fall. Ellis had already committed to Louisville a few months earlier with the initial idea of being part of their 2027 class.

Ellis is an interesting prospect, having spent his time playing in the Overtime Elite League in Atlanta. He was named Most Valuable Player this past season, posting tantalizing averages of 29 points and nearly nine assists per game.
