The Bulldogs lost in the SEC Tournament semifinals in a heartbreaker to Texas. Georgia will host the Athens Regional, which features four teams.
The Bulldogs are the No. 10 national seed and would be projected to play the No. 7 national seed Tennessee Volunteers in the super regionals if highest ranked seeds advance in the tournament.
Georgia was hoping their comeback SEC Tournament win over Oklahoma would propel them to a top-eight seed, but the Dawgs came up just short. m. ET on Friday. The other opening matchup in the Athens Regional is Clemson versus UNC Greensboro, which will take place at 4:30 p.
