Kristoffer Reitan jumps 46 spots on PGA Tour money list with Truist victory

Who's leading the PGA Tour FedEx Cup points standings entering the Truist Championship?

Kristoffer Reitan made a huge leap on the PGA Tour money list with his victory on May 10 at the Truist Championship . Earning $3. 6 million will do that for you.

Reitan, the second PGA Tour winner ever from Norway, moved from 54 th to eighth in earnings and now has just over $5 million. It was his first PGA Tour title and history shows that several players launched their careers by winning at the Quail Hollow Club, such as Rory McIlroy (2010), Wyndham Clark (2019) and Rickie Fowler (2012). The PGA Championship is this week at the Aronomink Golf Club and if Reitan plays anything close to the form he showed at the venue of last year’s PGA, he will be a threat to win.

The other big movers on the money list were Fowler and Nicolai Højgaard, who tied for second, two shots behind Reitan. Fowler moved from 30 th to 15 th on the money list and Hojgaard from 27 th to 13 th with their checks for $1. 76 million.

Cameron Young remained on top of the money list, more than $1. 2 million ahead of Matt Fitzpatrick. Young was in contention at the Truist until a final-round 74 dropped him into a tie for 10th.
