Laia Codina to leave Arsenal in the summer Laia Codina will leave Arsenal when her contract expires at the end of season. Codina joined the Gunners from Barcelona in summer 2023 and has made 58 appearances. The 26-year-old defender made her Women’s Super League debut in October 2023 and was part of the Arsenal squad that won the League Cup in 2024.

She also played a part in Arsenal’s road to victory in the UEFA Women’s Champions League title in 2025 and the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in 2026.
