Matt Fitzpatrick told Alex Fitzpatrick the Truist Championship outcome wasn’t important Alex Fitzpatrick praised Matt Fitzpatrick for helping him quickly become comfortable on the PGA Tour, which the latter has since responded to.
Speaking to Golf on CBS after his final round but before Alex’s final round, Matt said: “Yeah I think firstly it’s just a great experience for him. “Obviously to be in those last couple of groups who were in Zurich, I guess kind of eased him into that scenario with me being there as well. “Obviously this is a niche experience because he’s on his own now.
“For me I think it’s just about trying to enjoy it as much as he can. “He’s in a great spot, he’s obviously been playing well. “I said to him last night, ‘It doesn’t matter what happens, it’s going to be a great week regardless’.
