Reitan got his debut PGA Tour win with two new clubs in the bag this week: a new Ping G440 K driver and a PLD-Branded Ping Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue H putter.

The putter has a unique backstory as the PGA Tour rookie visited the Ping PLD putting lab in February when the Tour was at the WM Phoenix Open, wanting to take a look at his putting. Turns out he needed something very different from what he was using. “We could see, and he saw the numbers, suggested that he needed some toe down,” Ping Principal Design Engineer Tony Serrano told GOLF.

“He didn’t really fit that great with a face balance putter. “He needed something that would match his natural putting stroke. ” After some testing, Reitan eventually landed on a new Ping Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue H putter.

The Ally Blue H is a currently Tour-only option of the Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue Onset that is available now , but with a plumber’s neck.
