The victory secured a second consecutive league title for Catalans under manager Hansi Flick.

It was a difficult day for the coach, who lost his father ahead of the game , and Raphinha paid tribute to the Barca boss afterwards. “Winning a league title is something to celebrate. We’ve done very well this season,” he said.

“We all go through difficult times. In the end, knowing how to come back stronger from tough times… this team has shown that it knows how to do that. We went through those moments at the beginning of the season, but afterwards we’ve been spectacular.

“We often say that football gives you a lot of family. For me, Flick is like a father. He’s made me believe in myself again.
