ORONO, Maine โ The Binghamton softball team has begun to get familiar with the feel of the America East conference trophy. The Bearcats secured the conference title for the second year in a row, beating UMass Lowell in two games to secure an NCAA Tournament berth at powerhouse Oklahoma. A stunning, eight-run sixth-inning rally in Game 1, after a 7-0 deficit through four innings, brought the Bearcats back to playoff posture and sparked the offensive prowess that put Game 1 at 10-8, and a consistent defense that put Game 2 at 4-2 on Saturday, May 9.
