Tennessee softball to host NCAA Knoxville Regional

No. 7 national seed Tennessee (42-10) will host the NCAA Knoxville Regional of the NCAA Tournament at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium May 15-17. The Lady Vols will open tournament play against Northern Kentucky (26-23) Friday at 5:30 p.

SEC Network will televise the contest. The Knoxville Regional will be contested in a double-elimination format. In Friday's other first-round game, Indiana (42-14) will play Virginia (38-17) at 8 p.
