UCF softball makes 6th straight NCAA Tournament trip, heads to Tallahassee
The UCF Knights finished the regular season with a 38-16-1 record, losing to Kansas in the quarterfinal round of the Big 12 tournament.
UCF made the NCAA softball tournament for the sixth straight season, extending its program-record streak despite a one-and-done showing last week in Oklahoma City. The Knights (38-16-1) were drawn as the No. 2 seed in the Tallahassee Regional, grouped together with top-seeded Florida State, Jacksonville State and Stetson .
Double-elimination regional play will begin May 15 and run through the weekend. UCF will start against Jax State at 2:30 p. m.
