Full NCAA softball tournament bracket revealed as race to WCWS begins

The road to Oklahoma City began on Sunday as the full, 64-team NCAA softball tournament bracket was revealed.

The 2026 NCAA softball tournament field is now set, and the race to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City is officially underway. In a bit of a surprising selection, the Alabama Crimson Tide earned the No. 1 overall seed despite their SEC championship game loss to Texas .

The defending national champion Longhorns ultimately earned the No. 2 seed, while Oklahoma fell to the No. 3 seed after its quarterfinal exit at the SEC tournament in Lexington, Kentucky.
