Former Lady starts and plays 15 minutes in Seattle's win at Connecticut.

Seattle (1-1) defeated Connecticut (0-2), 89-82, on Sunday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Former Lady Vol Jordan Horston started for the Storm and played 15 minutes. She totaled four points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.

The 6-foot-2 forward converted 1-of-4 field goal attempts and 2-of-2 free throw attempts. She also started and played 15 minutes in an opening day loss for Seattle against Golden State. The former Lady Vol totaled four rebounds and one block.

Horston played at Tennessee from 2019-23. She was a two-time All-SEC First-team selection and a two-time Associated Press and WBCA All-America honorable mention. Horston appeared in 114 games, including 91 starts, for the Lady Vols, recording 1,145 points, 731 rebounds, 455 assists, 109 blocks and 163 steals.

She was named to the 2023 WNBA All-Rookie Team and was the No. 9 overall selection in the 2023 WNBA draft. Horston went to Tennessee from Columbus Africentric Early College High School in Columbus, Ohio.
