New Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel must have been wondering how long it would take Justin Herbert to pick up his new scheme when the offseason began.
The learning process for each quarterback is different, and there will be ups and downs as the offseason rolls along. But for McDaniel, he's got one of the better quarterbacks in football to work with, and as far as Herbert learning Mike's scheme, he's nailed it so far. In fact, even McDaniel has been surprised at how quickly Herbert has picked up what he's putting down.
