Brandt Snedeker snaps 8-year winless streak at Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic
It's been nearly eight years but Brandt Snedeker is a winner once again on the PGA Tour.
It's been nearly eight years, but Brandt Snedeker is a winner once again. Snedeker shot a final-round 5-under 66 at the Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic to come from down three shots down at the start of the day to win his 10th title on the PGA Tour. Snedeker, the 2026 Presidents Cup captain, did what 2025 Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley did: win on tour ahead of leading Team USA in an international competition.
While Snedeker is probably still not in any conversation to play for the Red, White and Blue this September, he can call himself a winner once again. Snedeker's last win came on Aug. 19, 2018, at the Wyndham Championship.
He earned more that day ($1,080,000) than he did Sunday at Dunes Golf & Beach Club. WIth the Oneflight being an opposite-field event, he will take home the first-place prize of $720,000 out of the $4 million prize fund . But that's merely a footnote for the 45-year-old Snedeker.
He contended earlier this year at the Valspar Championship but ended up tied for 18th after a final-round 76. This time, however, he was stellar in the final round with that 66, his second 66 of the week. His other two scores were 67s as he finished at 18 under to edge Mark Hubbard by a shot.
