Sunday to reveal where all 64 teams will be in the NCAA Tournament bracket for softball. The top 16 teams will host regionals while the top eight teams will host super regionals with those winners punching their ticket to the Women's College World Series. (Sara Diggins/Austin American-Statesman) Texas softball won its first SEC Tournament with a 7-1 win Saturday over Alabama and since its fourth in RPI — the system the NCAA uses to help determine seeding — the Longhorns (42-10) are expected to stay in Austin for a majority of the postseason. All 31 conference champions will get automatically placed in the bracket while the other teams will get an at-large bid to the tournament. Other Texas teams expected to make the 64 team bracket are Texas A&M (36-17), Texas Tech (52-6), Texas State (38-20) and Baylor (28-26).
