Diamondbacks vs. Mets updates. Torey Lovullo might not manage Sunday

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo did not meet with the media on Sunday morning, May 10, and might not manage the series finale against the New York Mets due to illness. Bench coach Jeff Banister answered questions from reporters in his place and would step in as manager if Lovullo is not feeling better. Banister said hitting coach Joe Mather likely would serve as his bench coach if Lovullo is unavailable.
Lovullo is at the ballpark, Banister said, adding that he found out around 6:30 a. m. that Lovullo wasn’t feeling well.
