Payton Pritchard Boston Celtics 2025-26 regular season highlights

After taking home Sixth Man of the Year Award honors for his performances during the 2024-25 campaign, Payton Pritchard worked predominantly as a starter during the 2025-26 season. This was due in large part to the absence of Jayson Tatum, sidelined with an Achilles injury. Although Pritchard moved back to the bench later in the year, he still started in 50 of the 79 games he played.

Once again, Pritchard excelled with increased opportunities, averaging a career-high 17 points per game, 5. 2 assists and 3. 9 rebounds.

This marks the third consecutive season that Pritchard increased his scoring average by 2. 5 points per game or more. He also shot 89% from the free-throw line, his highest percentage since the 2021-22 season.
