OG Anunoby out for Knicks-76ers Game 4; Joel Embiid probable
Anunoby sustained a hamstring injury late in Game 2 that also sidelined him for Game 3.
With a chance to close out their series against the Philadelphia 76ers, the New York Knicks will once again be shorthanded on Sunday. Starting forward OG Anunoby will miss a second straight game with a right hamstring strain. Head coach Mike Brown announced his status in his pregame news conference.
76ers center Joel Embiid, meanwhile, remained listed as probable in the hours before tip. Heโs been dealing with multiple lower-body injuries and was listed on the injury report with right hip soreness. He returned to play in Game 3 of the series after missing Game 2.
Anunoby sustained his injury late in New Yorkโs Game 2 win. It sidelined him for Game 3, which New York won to take a 3-0 series lead. The Knicks will have a chance to close out the series in Philadelphia on Sunday, but will do so without one of their most important players.
