If there's one thing we know about the Los Angeles Rams , it's that they are not afraid to make bold moves, whether that be with signings, trades or draft picks.
This offseason alone, we've seen Los Angeles pull off a blockbuster trade for Trent McDuffie, sign Jaylen Watson to a big contract and draft Ty Simpson with the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, which was their biggest offseason curveball. So, it's only logical for The Athletic's Nate Atkins to suggest the Rams as a potential trade suitor for Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby. "I’d also keep an eye on Maxx Crosby," Atkins said of the Rams possible trading for the Pro Bowler.
"He seems to have mended things with the Las Vegas Raiders after the trade to the Baltimore Ravens was reversed, but the organization’s approach could change if the Raiders hit another tough start to a season. " Crosby wanted out of Las Vegas earlier this offseason and the Raiders obliged, sending him to the Baltimore Ravens for two first-round picks. However, because of a failed physical many believe the Ravens used as an excuse to pull out of the trade over cold feet, the blockbuster deal was nixed .
And, after all that went down, Crosby re-committed to Las Vegas, so it doesn't look like he's going anywhere for the time being. We say "for the time being" because there's no telling what the future holds. If Las Vegas' current rebuild goes south, it's fair to assume Crosby would re-visit his desire to be traded to a contender.
