Meet the 11 LIV Golf players competing in the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink, only one of whom is a past champion.

It's almost time for the second men's major championship of the year. The 2026 PGA Championship begins Thursday at Aronimink Golf Club in Newton Square outside of Philadelphia, where the field of 156 golfers will vie to hoist the Wanamaker Trophy at week's end. Aronimink hosted the PGA in 1962, with Gary Player winning.

Back in 2018, Keegan Bradley won the BMW Championship at the course. In 2020, Aronimink hosted the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. This year, there will be double-digit LIV Golf players in the field, though only one of them is a past champion.

Phil Mickelson, a two-time PGA champion, will miss his second straight major due to a family health matter. Last year, there were 16 LIV players in the field at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte. Meet the 11 LIV Golf players competing in the 2026 PGA.
