The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly selling more than 20,000 old seats from Acrisure Stadium.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly selling more than 20,000 seats from Acrisure Stadium as the team undergoes a massive renovation project to replace older seating. On Saturday, Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported that, via WPXI, there were "roughly 22,000 seats" from Acrisure Stadium available for purchase. These seats were from the Upper Level East, Upper Level West, and North Club sections.
Florio added that the price of a single seat is $399, while a pair of seats costs $599. Individual seat backs are priced at $199, while the seat bottoms are $149. Additionally, WPXI reported that autographed seat backs from select Steelers legends would also be for sale with a price tag of $299.
Construction of Acrisure Stadium, previously known as Heinz Field, began in 1999, and the stadium opened in 2001, meaning the seats for sale are around 25 years old.
