VJ Edgecombe, Sixers discuss being ready to rally down 0-3 vs. Knicks
VJ Edgecombe and the Philadelphia 76ers discuss being ready to rally from being down 0-3 against the New York Knicks in Round 2.
CAMDEN, N. J. -- The Philadelphia 76ers will be staring elimination in the face on Sunday afternoon when they play host to the New York Knicks in Game 4 of Round 2.
The Sixers trail the Knicks 3-0--a deficit no team in NBA history has ever rallied from to win--and will need to stare down elimination four times and come out on top each time to advance in these playoffs. The Sixers did just rally from being down 3-1 against the Boston Celtics in Round 1 of the playoffs, but 3-0 is much different than 3-1. This team knows it, but the Sixers also aren't running from it either.
"A series is never over until someone wins four games," said rookie VJ Edgecombe. "Weโre gonna continue to go out there and play hard. Clean up the little mistakes that we've made in previous games and just go from there.
" "Weโre present in a moment," said Edgecombe. "We know it's not easy. It's not easy at all.
