Darren Till rides 'not-so-tough' Dana White, calls ex-boss 'gay as f*ck'
Men who train and have competitions with other men, mostly unclothed, continue to find peak creativity in calling people "gay." It's almost as if ...
Here we go again. Former UFC title challenger Darren Till once again is taking aim at his ex-boss, UFC CEO Dana White. He's also taking aim at members of the MMA media community for failing to ask White hard-hitting questions — he says out of fear their on-site coverage opportunities will be taken away by the promotion.
Till also managed to close his very reasonable social media take about White and his relationship with the media with a bit of classic MMA punching-down homophobia by saying White not wanting to answer hard questions is "f*cking gay as f*ck," which is basically just par for the course in the "sport"/influencer circus of mixed martial arts. Check out Till's shots at White, MMA media, and his ever-so-classy shot at the gay community, considered a mark of male fragility and weakness by many, or at least many consider it the mark of an uncreative lack of intelligence. "MMA reporters once again failing to ask the questions us fans want,Everytime I watch one of these media scrums after a UFC card it seems they are all so terrified of upsetting Dana & getting banned from having media passes.
Or sometimes once again he gives half assed answers and they just accept it. The media are there to ask the uncomfortable questions and ask the questions we want to hear. Ariel Helwani although many are not fans of, over the years has even asked me uncomfortable questions.
Never have I gone away and thought anything of him as the person. It’s his job, if we get offended by the uncomfortable questions fighter or promoter then it ain’t for you. Dana talks a lot about masculinity and tough men etc… but someone’s asks him a question he doesn’t like and you can see he gets all in his feelings, that’s not so tough from where I am standing to be honest.
