Caitlin Clark walks out with country star Morgan Wallen after WNBA return

So much for Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark easing back into her WNBA career. Clark scored 20 points in 31 minutes on Saturday, May 9, during the Fever’s 107-104 loss to the Dallas Wings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The regular-season opener featured an injury scare, accusations of flopping and a missed 3-point attempt by Clark to tie the game.

Clark accompanied country-music star Morgan Wallen as he entered the venue for a sold-out Indianapolis show. Wallen no stranger to controversy The 32-year-old Wallen closed a two-night run in Indianapolis during his 23-city Still the Problem Tour.

Clark, 24, faced scrutiny by seemingly endorsing Wallen. Others came to her defense, posting a video of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce walking out with Wallen during a previous tour stop. “All of the weirdos calling Caitlin Clark racist for walking out on stage at a Morgan Wallen Concert need to get a life. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce walked out at one too, and there was no outrage,” another user posted.
