Millersport softball player Kendyl Bonkowski was selected the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Girls Athlete of the Week for April 27-May 3. Bonkowski broke the school career strikeout record of 620. She has 652 now.
She also broke her own record of single-season strikeouts (217) and has 222. Bonkowski received 43. 8% of the vote and was followed by Upper Arlington softball player Gabriella Duguid, who received 32.
