It was huge news for the Golden State Warriors that emerged on Saturday, that Kerr plans to stick around for at least two more seasons, which means that it's like Steph Curry will try to play for Kerr for at least those two more years, as well. But now that Kerr's future is settled, it's time for the Warriors to start thinking about what else they could have to figure out. And it's time to talk about LeBron James.
This is almost certainly a longshot, but it's one that has been floated throughout the year. Everyone knows James is on an expiring contract. Everyone knows that if he doesn't retire, he might look for somewhere new as his final NBA chapter.
And hey, everyone knows that he and Curry have the utmost respect for each other. If James really wanted to close out his career playing with Steph, he could do that. The Warriors and LeBron would have to make the financials work, but that seems like it wouldn't be an issue if James was willing to do what it took to fit in the salary cap.
