He recorded 42 pressures, three sacks, and 29 STOPs across his two seasons with Detroit, while only missing four tackles.
Reader figures to be the Giants’ number one nose tackle option now that Dexter Lawrence is a Cincinnati Bengal. New York is employing a platoon at defensive line, and Reader may be in line as the number one nose or 1-tech in that rotation. The Giants ranked 31st in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game.
