ON THE APP STORE The Blues are set for a busy summer both in terms of incomings and outgoings, with a lot of business needing to be done.
Chelsea need to sell players to raise funds, whilst they are also said to be in the market for a centre back, midfielder and attacker. Leeds interested in Axel Disasi The Blues are expected to undergo a major overhaul of the centre back department, with there question marks over the future of Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile. Disasi will almost certainly leave this summer, and the Frenchman has put in some impressive performances for the Hammers, having joined on loan in January.
The 28-year-old has started 11 games in a row since making the switch, and has made 14 appearances in all competitions. Disasi’s form will likely have attracted the interest of multiple clubs, and transfer correspondent Peter O’Rourke has provided an update. “I think there’ll be a lot of clubs looking at Disasi, he’s really resurrected his career during this loan move to West Ham,” he told Football Insider.
“He doesn’t seem to have a long-term future at Chelsea, so I would fully expect him to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis in the summer window, whether that’s to West Ham or someone else remains to be seen. “If West Ham go down, there will probably be no chance of signing him on a permanent basis. Leeds did look at Disasi before he moved to West Ham, they were one of the clubs that were interested in the French defender.
