Golden State reveals 'aggressive' plan to build around Steph Curry
After inking Steve Kerr to a two-year contract, the Golden State Warriors are planning to build aggressively around Steph Curry.
The Warriors announced Saturday that they've signed head coach Steve Kerr to a new two-year deal, refusing to close the door on his partnership with star point guard Stephen Curry. According to ESPN, now that Kerr has been re-signed, the Warriors front office is expected to be "aggressive in rearranging the roster" around Curry to make another championship run. With the NBA Draft lottery scheduled for Sunday, May 10, there's a chance that Golden State's 2026 first-round pick may be used as a trade piece to fuel that aggression, depending on where it lands.
The Warriors have previously been linked to the trio of Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard. This article originally appeared on Warriors Wire: Golden State reveals 'aggressive' plan to build around Steph Curry
