Nuno warns: ‘No hiding’ as relegation-threatened West Ham face title-chasing Arsenal in high-stakes London showdown Nuno Espirito Santo has warned West Ham that there is 'no hiding' when his relegation-threatened team take on Arsenal this afternoon. West Ham host the Premier League leaders at the London Stadium on Sunday, in a fixture of massive importance to both teams. Last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Brentford saw the Hammers slip back into the relegation places, leaving their fate out of their hands, with just three games to go.
Arsenal cross the capital with control over their own destiny. Wins in each of their final three fixtures will crown the Gunners as Premier League champions for the first time since 2004. The North Londoners have also reached the Champions League final, and will take on Paris Saint-Germain later this month.
Ahead of a vital clash for both teams, Nuno said there is no place to hide for his team. "It's difficult [to beat Arsenal] because they are very good. They are a very talented team that is fighting for huge things and achieving huge moments," the Hammers' head coach said at his pre-match press conference.
"They have reached the final of the Champions League and are fighting for the Premier League title. "They are a tough opponent, but we are at London Stadium and that always gives us a plus of energy and especially for us, we have to give our all. "There is no hiding.
We have to be there. "I see them very well, talented, a group of players who have been together for a while. They have routines and are a tough opponent.
