How did the Thunder get fouled 1 second into Game 3 with Lakers?
Okay... this is pretty funny for all the Thunder-refs conspiracies out there.
The " Oklahoma City Thunder always get favorable reffing treatment" narrative didn't go anywhere during Game 3 of the team's NBA playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers . Saturday night's playoff game in L. A.
quite literally started with Deandre Ayton getting called for a foul on the tip-off. While Ayton is clearly guilty of some contact here to warrant a foul, the optic is still pretty humorous for the team with so much outside animosity for how they're officiated. Leonardo DiCaprio's stunned reaction to a LeBron James 3 was priceless We don't really know statistically if OKC is given favorable treatment by the refs, or if this has always just been a fan theory that doesn't hold a lot of water when you break down the numbers.
Although, the Thunder getting a foul to go the team's way one second into a game won't quiet any of the dissent; that's for sure. Deandre Ayton was issued a foul a second after the tip-off. pic.
