Three Ironmen each scored two goals to lift the Ramsey parochial school to a sixth straight Bergen County lacrosse title.

MAHWAH - Brady Kushner feels the Don Bosco lacrosse team is nearing its peak, but has not yet reached its full potential. Despite earning a signature victory on May 9 by securing a sixth consecutive Bergen County Tournament title, the senior attack believes the program still has room to grow. โ€œWeโ€™re close right now.

Weโ€™re playing well and riding an eight-game winning streak, but weโ€™re not there yet," Kushner said. "Weโ€™re taking it one game at a time and continuing to build. Tonight was an important step.

โ€ Kushner, along with fellow seniors John Devir, and Hudson Villaruel, each scored two goals as second-seeded Don Bosco defeated top-seeded Ridgewood, 8-2, for its sixth straight Bergen County title and eighth overall. The match marked the fourth championship meeting between the teams in the past five years and the sixth in tournament history. Check back for updates This article originally appeared on NorthJersey.
