(Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) King Green pushed his UFC win streak to three with a masterclass performance earlier tonight (Sat. , May 9, 2026) at UFC 328 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, steamrolling veteran Jeremy Stephens with a first-round submission (rear-naked choke).
Green’s skills were on full display from the opening bell as he walked down Stephens with leg kicks and combinations from range. Moments later, Green changed leveled and took Stephens down with a beautiful double leg. From there, Green unleashed heavy elbows and punches that peppered Stephens in the head.
Stephens is as tough as they come so he was fighting his way through the offensive onslaught. As he was trying to scramble Stephens left his neck open and Green wasted no time grabbing a hold of a rear-naked choke. It was tight from the start and left Stephens little time to defend.
“Lil Heathen” eventually tapped and Green walked off with a memorable submission to spark UFC 328’s main card. Check out the video highlights below — including Green’s post-fight callout of Dana White — and let us know if King has earned another shot at the lightweight top 15!
