Browns Spencer Fano draws lofty comparison from NFL analyst Ross Tucker

One analyst sees a former great in the Browns top pick.

The Cleveland Browns continued their offensive line rebuild using their top pick to draft the first offensive lineman in the draft, Spencer Fano . The plan is to move him to left tackle and hope they finally have the solution at the position that they haven't been able to find since Hall of Famer Joe Thomas retired. While appearing on Cleveland Browns Daily , NFL analyst Ross Tucker compared the Browns ' first-round pick to a former Patriot great who was a big part of three of New England's Super Bowl wins.

"He kind of reminds me of Matt Light. Matt Light was the left tackle for the Patriots for over a decade. Protecting Tom Brady's blindside, Matt was 6'4", maybe?

I don't think he had the longest arms, but he has really good feet, and a really good low center of gravity, and he was a heck of a player. When I watch Fano, that's kind of who he reminded me of a little bit. " Can Fano live up to that comparison?

Cleveland sure hopes so. This article originally appeared on Browns Wire: Browns Spencer Fano draws lofty comparison
