Jim Miller added another fight and another win to his growing resume of UFC records

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY - MAY 09: (R-L) Jim Miller secures a guillotine choke submission against Jared Gordon in a lightweight fight during the UFC 328 event at Prudential Center on May 09, 2026 in Newark, New Jersey. (Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) Jim Miller extended his record for the most wins in UFC history with a slick first-round guillotine choke submission to finish Jared Gordon at UFC 328 on Saturday. Fighting in front of his home state crowd in New Jersey and returning to action after more than a year away, Miller looked as good as ever as he attacked Gordon on the feet early and then took full advantage of one mistake form his opponent.

After Gordon caught a kick and looked for a takedown, Miller immediately recognized an opening on the neck and he snatched a guillotine choke โ€” one of his nastiest submissions. Miller secured the hold with full guard on the ground and despite his best efforts to slip free, Gordon was eventually forced to tap out. The end came at 3:29 in the opening round.
