Antonio Williams signs rookie contract with Washington Commanders
Former Clemson star wide receiver Antonio Williams has signed his contract with the Washington Commanders, landing in an ideal situation.
Antonio Williams has taken the next step in his football career after officially signing his rookie contract with the Washington Commanders . The former Clemson wide receiver was selected in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft with the No. 71 overall pick after building a reputation as one of the Tigers’ most dependable offensive weapons over the last several seasons.
Williams closed out his Clemson career with 208 receptions for 2,336 yards and 21 touchdowns across 43 games. By the time his college career ended, he ranked fourth in school history in catches and finished tied for fourth in touchdown receptions. Although injuries limited him during portions of the 2025 season, Williams still found ways to make an impact.
He totaled 55 catches for 604 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games while also contributing as a runner and returner. He even added a touchdown pass during his final season with the Tigers. At 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, Williams consistently proved himself as one of Clemson’s most polished skill players.
