Michigan Football lands commitment from 4-star edge rusher
BOOOOOOOM! Michigan Football picked up its seventh member of the 2027 recruiting class, as four-star edge rusher Jayce Brewer has announced his commitment:

On those trips, Brewer connected with the coaching staff and players on a personal level. While the former coaching staff initially offered him, it was defensive tackles coach Larry Black, defensive ends coach Lewis Powell and others who helped get Michigan to the top. โI would say the history of great defensive linemen they have produced and relationships that have been built with coaches,โ Brewer told Rivalsโ Steve Wiltfong .
Michigan beat the likes of Kentucky, Auburn, Purdue, Indiana and Tennessee for Brewer, who will take his official visit to Ann Arbor from June 19-21 during Victorโs Weekend. Following this commitment, Michigan is up to seven commitments in the 2027 class. Along with Brewer, the Wolverines hold commitments from four-star offensive lineman Jakari Lipsey, four-star edge rusher Recarder Kitchen, four-star quarterback Kamden Lopati, three-star offensive lineman Sidney Rouleau, three-star offensive lineman Louis Esposito and three-star safety Maxwell Miles.
