Paige Bueckers taunts Sophie Cunningham, Fever bench with 'too small' gesture
Paige Bueckers and the Wings got the best of Caitlin Clark and the Fever on Saturday.
Dallas Wings superstar guard Paige Bueckers wasn't afraid to taunt both guard Sophie Cunningham and the Indiana Fever bench during her team's 107-104 victory on Saturday afternoon at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. After making a bucket, Bueckers gave the "too small" gesture to the Fever players on the sideline to flex the moment. She made the same gesture to Cunningham after muscling past her to get a layup.
Beating a title-contending Indiana team on the road to start the year is a big statement for Bueckers and the new-look Wings, and she made sure to let the Fever know she was in a rhythm on Saturday. We'll see if the Wings can maintain this level of play throughout the season, but so far, so... great, honestly.
