Latham, Stucky pick up titles at Monon Conference Meet
The running events of the first ever Monon Athletic Conference Meet were completed on Friday night at Southmont High School. Field events were delayed until Saturday morning due to the rain. The Stars claimed conference titles in both the boys and girls meets.
On the boys side, Jaden Latham swept the hurdles titles. He won the 110-meter hurdles in 14. 44 seconds, then claimed the 300-meter hurdles in 41.
46. On the girls side, Charlotte Stucky won the 3,200-meter run title with a time of 12:31. 14.
Also scoring for the boys: Malaki Christy placed third in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11. 40 seconds and sixth in the 300-meter hurdles in 45. 69, Brennen Bivens placed fourth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:09.
13, Isaac Threlkeld placed fifth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 23. 95, Nate Thompson placed sixth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 24. 03, Eli Bishop placed seventh in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:11.
