Brooklyn Nets rookie guard Egor Demin had a solid rookie season, but he spoke on where he improved the most over the course of the year.

NEW YORK -- Brooklyn Nets guard Egor Demin had some questions to answer over the course of the 2025-26 NBA season and he answered most of those questions through his solid play through his rookie season. Brooklyn was eventually able to rely on Demin to be one of the guards in the starting lineup, but he spoke on what he improved on during his first season in the league. "I think itโ€™s hard to reflect on something exact, something specific because itโ€™s been a growth overall: as a person, as a basketball player, as an athlete...

it was a new situation for me," Demin said during his exit interview in April when asked where he improved in his game. Demin showed his ability to shoot the three-pointer at an exceptional level in the NBA, but it seems that Demin's growth is more in the general sense. "Just coming to such a big city from Madrid [Spain] where I didnโ€™t have that much of an open space for me to operate in the city.

Being in Provo [Utah], itโ€™s a little bit different too," Demin continued. "From a college experience coming to New York as a professional basketball player with a lot of responsibilities, itโ€™s been a lot of growth in that part, I believe. " Demin, 20 , finished his rookie season with averages of 10.

3 points, 3. 2 rebounds, and 3. 3 assists per game while shooting 39.
