The card also features major former UFC names, with Francis Ngannou, Philipe Lins and Nate Diaz all part of the broadcast. However, one ex-UFC fighter will no longer compete on the event, forcing Jake Paul’s promotion into a late change just days before fight night.

MVP confirms that Muhammad Mokaev will no longer fight Adriano Moraes Photo by Ben Roberts Photo/Getty Images Muhammad Mokaev has withdrawn from the card due to visa issues, removing him from his scheduled bout with former ONE champion Adriano Moraes. MVP confirmed the change on social media this Saturday, announcing that Moraes will now face Phumi Nkuta instead. “Adriano Moraes will now face Phumi Nkuta in a 3×3 professional MMA bout on Saturday, May 16,” the promotion wrote.

“Muhammad Mokaev is officially off the card due to visa delays,” the statement added, confirming a frustrating setback, as Mokaev is an unbeaten prospect with a 7-0 UFC record. He was certainly one of the most exciting names who would have appeared in the event. Who is Phumi Nkuta?

Nkuta is an unbeaten flyweight prospect known as “Turbo”, born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and raised in New Jersey. He carries an 11-0 professional record and has already held the CFFC flyweight title. Nkuta has also competed for LFA, Bellator, Peak Fighting and A1 Combat, where he recently continued building his reputation.
