Bringing back Connor Dewar and Ilya Solovyov is just smart, effective business for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

On the surface, they are relatively minor extensions. But they are still solid pieces of work and provide some necessary depth for the 2026-27 season. Dewar is the most noteworthy of the moves and the one that is likely to have the biggest impact.
