Defensive tackle Elijah Chatman, linebacker Swayze Bozeman, and wide receiver Courtney Jackson were awarded to new teams on waivers Friday.

Chatman was claimed by the Cleveland Browns , Bozeman by the Cincinnati Bengals , and Jackson by the Tennessee Titans . Chatman was made expendable after the signed signed defensive tackles D. J.

Reader, Shelby Harris, Leki Fotu and Sam Roberts in free agency, claimed Zacch Pickens on waivers, and selected Bobby Jamison-Travis in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Bozeman lost out to first-round pick Arvell Reese, sixth-round pick Jack Kelly, and the return of a healthy Micah McFadden. Jackson, 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, was signed to a futures contract by the Giants in February.

The fourth player released by the Giants was defensive lineman Marlon Tuipulotu. The Giants are holding rookie mini-camp this wekend, and that might bring more roster moves.
