The Seattle Mariners catcher started the season in miserable fashion before finding some of his home run swing again. Now, though, Raleigh is in a massive funk, and it feels very familiar to that season-opening one. This is where he was early, too, before seeming to figure something out. He's going to need to diagnose his issues again to get back in a better place. It's gotta be a frustrating season for Raleigh and for Mariners fans.
He hit 60 home runs in 2025, which was historic on a bunch of levels. But it also was always going to be a tough season to follow up. The reality is that Raleigh was almost certainly going to face regression.
