Notre Dame gets a crystal ball prediction for 2027 5-star prospect

Notre Dame football is assembling yet another top class during the 2027 cycle, and it could be adding a 5-star prospect in the near future. On Friday, Steve Wiltfong of On3 made a prediction that the Irish will land offensive tackle Oluwasemilore Olubobola, a 6-foot, 6-inch and 295-pound mauler. He’s currently ranked as the No.

15 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite , firmly in the 5-star range. The New Jersey native has an extremely impressive offer list, with the likes of Ohio State , Texas , LSU and plenty others going after his commitment. However, it looks like Notre Dame has the advantage over the rest of the programs Olubobola is considering, even though the offer was on the later side of things for him.

He recently took a visit at the end of April, which clearly made a very big impression on the elite offensive tackle. Olubobola has yet to announce when he will make a commitment, but at the moment, it looks very much like the Irish will win out his recruitment.
