Speaking with the media recently, Colts' second-year safety Hunter Wohler provided an injury update.
Indianapolis Colts ' second-year safety Hunter Wohler is getting close to returning to the field. A promising start to training camp last summer was cut short after Wohler suffered a Lisfranc injury in the Colts' preseason game with Green Bay. The injury required surgery, and he was placed on injured reserve, where he remained for his entire rookie season.
The recovery has been a "long process," Wohler said recently, but he feels good and is nearing a return. "We're getting there," said Wohler when asked about his return to the field, via Roundtable Sports . "We're real close.
I feel good. Body feels good. I'm just excited to get back on the field.
I'm excited to get back playing, get around the guys. Just have some fun. " Wohler was non-committal when asked if he would be available for OTAs or mandatory minicamp in June, but is confident that he will be good to go for training camp.
