Things on the recruiting trail have started to go quiet for the Kentucky Wildcats as they now look to fill out their remaining spots on next season’s roster. While many could just be added as some other role players, it appears the Cats have their sights set on trying to land one of the top players in the transfer portal. Who is that?

Iowa State transfer forward, Milan Momcilovic. Going through the NBA Draft process currently, Momcilovic would return to college as one of the best shooters in the country if he were to return to the NCAA. However, that seems like it could be a stretch at the moment as his main focus is on starting his NBA career.

That is not stopping Mark Pope and the staff from throwing their name in the mix of this recruitment. Hosting a Zoom call with the talented forward earlier this week, it appears that if a return were to happen, the Cats could be right in the middle of this recruitment. He would also be a much-needed star to a roster that is desperate for star power.
