Bella Currier of Sturgis voted as Athlete of the Week, presented by Glen Oaks
Currier earned better than 50 percent of the nearly 20,000 votes cast for athlete of the week
STURGIS — For the second consecutive week, a Sturgis High School female student-athlete has been voted as athlete of the week. This week, Bella Currier earned the top overall honor. Currier was nominated for the athlete of the week, presented by our friends at Glen Oaks Community College.
Currier had an impressive record of 15-0 prior to the poll being posted on sturgisjournal. com and improved upon that as well. Currier now sits at 16-0 for the season as the fourth singles player for the Trojan tennis team.
